The stone of the stone houses is durable, non-combustible, resistant to damage, against pests, and free of rot. While some wood buildings tend to be destroyed and broken down after about 50 years, well-structured stone structures often stand for centuries. It is not possible to lose a stone house by fire, but even if the wooden frame  would be somehow flared, you could probably rebuild it from the original stone shell.

And while other homeowners may waste time and money fighting termites, rodents and wet / dry rot you can sit behind your almost impermeable stone walls and relax – even decades after.
